MCI\nacts as a trusted confidential application service provider dedicated to\nproviding a secure Internet and mobile service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MCI\nemploys a high degree of security consciousness. The environment at MCI\ncurrently encompasses the commercially reasonable level of security as well as\nthe Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)\nsecurity tenets that of the proposed regulations. The overall priorities of MCI\nas an organization are to use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure\nsecurity and be fully compliant with all HIPAA regulations, proposed and\nfinalized. Access, integrity, availability, ownership, authorization,\ndependability, authentication, and confidentiality are all major considerations\nwithin the MCI Security Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MCI\nupholds its stringent Security Policy with the following security measures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role-Based Usage:<\/strong> MCI grants varying degrees of\naccess to users with different levels of authority within a provider practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encryption:<\/strong> All communication between you and\nthe MCI server is secured by using SSL AES 128-bit or better encryption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data Security: <\/strong>MCI takes all reasonable measures to\nsecure your data on our servers, but also rely on advertised security imposed\nby our world-class and well-regarded partners that operate said data centers. Amongst\nother measures, the data centers we user are both physically and electronically\nsecured and our servers are isolated from the Internet by using a firewall\nwhich is a hardware and software system that blocks access by unauthorized\nparties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confidentiality:<\/strong> MCI has internal policies that\nkeep your data private and confidential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aggregated Data:<\/strong> Certain information and\/or\npersonal information may be disclosed to third-parties in connection with and\nas necessitated by our normal provision of Services. Additionally, information\nand\/or personal information may be anonymized, aggregated, and used for various\nbusiness and commercial purposes, but in no event in a matter that is linked to\nany personally identifiable information, or to profile any individual with first\nattaining your written consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Login ID and Password:<\/strong> Access to your account is\ncontrolled by a login ID and a password, which you chose. Strict login ID and\npassword rules virtually eliminate the unauthorized user from gaining access.\nWe do NOT store a plain text version of your password. Your password is stored\nusing a one-way hash key and verified using the same one-way hash every time\nyou login, which means no one at MCI knows what password you have chosen. If you\never forget your password, we force you to choose a new one using an email\nverification check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auto-Logoff:<\/strong> MCI protects you against\naccidentally leaving your personal information active on a computer browser\nscreen. The MCI service ends your \u201csession\u201d if you are logged in to MCI but\nhave not actively used the service for a set period of time. This prevents\nothers from accessing your account when you leave a session and forget to log\nout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Certificates:<\/strong> MCI uses a digital certificate\nissued by a reputable third party Internet Service Provider located in Canada.  This gives you the confidence that you are\nconnected to a site operated by MCI, and authenticated as such.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensitive Information:<\/strong> MCI handles all your health\ninformation with respect to its confidentiality and privacy. Agree to allow MCI\nto store your data at multiple storage sites and with reputable third parties provided\nthey adhere to industry standard levels of privacy and security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data Integrity:<\/strong> MCI employs the latest products\nand technology to ensure data is always available and access to the site continues\nwithout interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firewall:<\/strong> We take all reasonable measures to secure your\ndata on our servers, in our data center or in data centers owned and\/or\noperated reputable third parties. Our data center is both physically and\nelectronically secured. Our servers are protected behind the Internet by using\na firewall which system that blocks access by unauthorized parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
